I remember seeing damn near mint ones for $4500. Those same trucks are $15k today. When did that happen?
With the reveal of the new Bronco, I’d absolutely love to get a Bronco of my own, but the prices have gone insane.
I mean, I’d gladly pay $8k (well, no. I don’t have 8k. But I’d trade my Ranger) for a mint one with under 100k, but I’m seeing people ask twice that for them with 200k.
It sucks. I’ve wanted one for years now as many know.
This is ramble-y because it’s late and I want to vent.

Funny. Wait, really?
Holy hell, I think you’re right. It was right around my high school graduation that they went nuts

But they don’t mess with the Fullsize Broncos, do they?
I’ m referring mainly to the 80-96. Especially the 92-96 it seems.

I’ve seen some teens driving a few with the tops off, I think they have become trendy.

Very pronounced jump in the last 3 . You could still find good deals 2- 3 years ago, but clean sub $10k Broncos have been hard to come by for 18+ months now.

They seem to have been high for the last few years, hard to find mint anything with 4 wheels for $4500 these days especially.
Motorcycles and the fun cheap cars like Miatas and old 4x4s have jumped in price most recently.

Even those have been pretty desireable for a while. I know because my wife has a fetish for them.

Those old full size body-on-frame SUVs have skyrocketed in value over the past three or four years. It’s kinda nuts.

Few years ago. Lots of them got thrashed, not many left.
Good ones are rare - 5.0/5spd or 5.8 with
the tow package (dual front shocks) that aren’t beat or rusted is tough.
GenX is spending money on fun vehicles from their younger years. 80-90s stuff is really popping.

ICON has built 60 Broncos.
They have had no affect on the residual value.

I know, bro, I’ve been buying classic cars and motos for a bit. The ‘80-90s Broncos have been going for decent money for a while.
But still, they built 60 Broncos using how many dead horses?

They really started climbing in the last 5-8 years or so. I’ve been watching and actively shopping for one lately too. You stumble across a deal every now and then but overall prices are really high. Beaters with some rust can still be had in the couple thousand dollar range, but anything reasonable nice is $8k+, super clean ones are easy $15k+.

Considering how much of an ICON Bronco is hand built, and bespoke to their builds, probably not much more than 60.
